Founder, Late President

Dr Harold L. Shindoll was born in Dallas, Texas. His parents were Louis W. and Bertha Shindoll. He was one of seven children, five boys and two girls. He was a devoted husband and father of seven children and a grandfather of eight. Dr. Shindoll was also a father to many of his flock at one time or another, and a devoted shepherd for over fifteen years to those the Lord entrusted to his care.

It has been said of Pastor [Hal] Shindoll, by some of his flock, that he was one of the few people who demonstrated what a Christian is. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law” [Gal. 5:22-23]. The Lord came into his life, and he was baptized into the Body of Christ at the age of fourteen. God placed a call upon his life and he began preaching when he was sixteen. After about two years of ministering in youth groups and local churches, he helped his uncle, Earnest Shindoll, establish the Faith Temple Pentecostal Church in Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Shindoll was a successful business man with a major corporation, where he spent many years ministering to the spiritual needs of men and women in all levels of management. He labored as an evangelist, teacher and pastor for twenty years. He is the author of children´s stories: “The Toy Maker” and a series of “Adventures with Peppie.” The vision God gave to Dr. Shindoll was to bring the Word of Life to the entire world, teaching the principles of the Kingdom of God and setting God´s creation free from the bondages that have them captive.

Dr. Shindoll received his education at various schools and seminaries and his Doctorate of Theology Degree from Florida Theological Seminary, Inc. where he was an instructor of many Biblical subjects. He also served as the Founder and the President of the Seminary. Dr. Harold L. Shindoll went to be with the Lord in September 1998 . “He being dead, yet speaketh” [Hebrews 11:4c].
