Doctor Degree: the highest earned level of academic degree, to prepare the student to initiate new projects with scientific research that add to the collective knowledge base of the field. Post-Doctor Degree: characterized by a mentored research activity and performed by qualified scholars with a doctoral degree, for the purpose of acquiring distinct academic and professional skills in pursuit of a career path or life vocation.
